Marketing Strategist & Project Manager
Robyn has been leading marketing initiatives at startups and other organizations for more than 15 years. During that time, she has launched several award-winning products, built brands, and developed campaigns focused on revenue growth and brand awareness for technology companies whose products have ranged from semiconductors and bomb suits to consumer software. In addition to her work in technology, Robyn has also worked with the National Arts Centre, developing marketing strategy and seasonal program execution for the National Arts Centre Orchestra.
Robyn has previously held a variety of senior management and marketing communications positions in a number of organizations, including LightSpeed Retail, CakeMail, the National Arts Centre, GridIron Software, and Tundra Semiconductor (now IDT) and began working with TrueCourse Communications in the Fall of 2013 after beginning work as an independent marketing consultant in the Spring of 2013.
Robyn received a Bachelor of Arts from Carleton University in 2008, with a Major in Mass Communications. She is the current Director of Membership for the Ottawa/Gatineau Chapter of Women in Communications and Technology, and sits on the Fundraising Committee of the Parkdale Food Centre. Between 2004 and 2009, she was a foster parent for the Ottawa Humane Society, helping more than seventy orphaned kittens develop social skills, grow up, and find new forever homes.
