For more than 17 years, Alecia has been helping local start-ups and international consumer brands meet their branding and brand awareness goals. She is known for her boundless enthusiasm – bringing a fresh perspective, energy, and discipline to the strategic execution of marketing programs. Be it preparing a go-to-market launch strategy, creating a sales funnel, delivering a webinar, producing a video, promotions on social platforms, or optimizing a website for maximum conversion, Alecia helps to distill a unique offering to a message that resonates with target audiences.
Originally from Melbourne, Australia, Alecia spent her early marketing career as an Account Manager. Much of her career since, has been working within Senior Product Marketing roles, serving Ottawa’s start-up tech community, which finely attuned her to the realities of small businesses, encouraging her marketing to be incredibly creative, coming up with ingenious ways to help reach branding goals.
When not out on the Ottawa River with her SUP, Alecia is active in her community on the board of the Westboro Community Association, as well as managing Facebook groups helping to engage community members, while improving the neighbourhood for her three young kids. Unsurprisingly, she loves good Australian wine and hanging out in her backyard with friends and family.
